### Five checks before you buy any plot

- **RERA registration.** Check the project on the [Karnataka RERA website](https://rera.karnataka.gov.in/) and read the completion date it declares.
- **Clear title.** Ask for the title documents and have a lawyer review the chain of ownership.
- **Roads, water and power.** See the internal roads, drainage, water supply and electricity on site, not just in the brochure.
- **The full cost.** Ask for a cost sheet with registration and every other charge, not only the price per sq ft.
