North Bangalore has grown around the airport. In 2025–26 Kempegowda International Airport handled 44.47 million passengers and 532,000 tonnes of cargo (ACI Asia-Pacific). Connectivity is improving too. The Namma Metro Blue Line will link the airport to Hebbal and the Outer Ring Road, with a station at Doddajala; construction passed 72% in August 2026 (Business Today). Five checks before you buy any plot
- Layout approval. In the airport area, layouts are approved by BIAAPA. Ask for the approved layout plan and match your plot number to it. What BIAAPA approval means.
- RERA registration. Check the project on the Karnataka RERA website and read the completion date it declares.
- Clear title. Ask for the title documents and have a lawyer review the chain of ownership.
- Roads, water and power. See the internal roads, drainage, water supply and electricity on site, not just in the brochure.
- The full cost. Ask for a cost sheet with registration and every other charge, not only the price per sq ft.
